It has been an honor and a privilege to be a friend of Irma’s. We met 10 years ago at a cocktail party in Tatum Village, Cave Creek, AZ. We were neighbors. It was instant like that turned into so much more. Luckily our husbands liked each other too. Her smile was radiant, eyes sparkling, so often coming out with a smart ass answer to a question I asked. I absolutely loved watching her play golf and we played a lot. I have often dreamed that I could hit just one ball like Irma. It hasn’t happened yet, but maybe someday. We spent lots of time at the pool solving all the world’s problems, we thought we were pretty good at it!!
We loved pizza, especially Lou Malnati’s. We loved taco Tuesday along with our other friends. I went to see her in Ogden last September. I had to see her gorgeous condo that she had been telling me about since I met her, it is truly beautiful along with the amazing views. We had wonderful visit. I’m so glad I went. I took my granddaughters to Paris one year, Irma made us all matching bracelets and my youngest granddaughter was too young to go with us, Irma made her a cozy blanket that she still sleeps with every night. There are so many other stories from the last ten years that I cherish and always will. I miss her terribly and I will never forget her. She is with me always, RIP my dearest friend.
Love, Candi
